Shawn R. Hughes has over 30 years experience with technology companies and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of CertiPath LLC, a Washington D.C. based company that is the federated trust authority for high-assurance identity and access control environments. Prior to joining Certipath, Mr. Hughes was  CEO of BlueSky Mast, a leader in elevating technologies for the federal security and communications markets; President & COO of ThermoEnergy Corporation, a publicly traded clean energy company;  and Chief Executive Officer of Fortress Technologies where he led the turnaround of an insolvent business, ultimately resulting in a successful sale of the company to General Dynamics. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Slippery Rock University and an MBA from Florida State University.  He is active with local charities and resides in Tampa, FL with his wife, Sandy.
