Request for Proposal

Tampa Bay Innovation Center is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide four (4) week AI Bootcamp, starting on January 27, 2025.  The first session will be held at the Tampa Bay Innovation Center with other sessions allowed virtually. The pilot program consists of (6) six bootcamps throughout the end of October 31, 2025. Our goal is to equip our workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize artificial intelligence in business operations.

Background

Tampa Bay Innovation Center is a 501 c3 not for profit corporation. Our vision is to serve as the focal point of innovation for the State of Florida and the Tampa Bay Region.  Our mission, Accelerate Entrepreneurial Success, is carried out along three major areas:

  • Building Technology Companies

  • Building the Innovation Community

  • Teaming with Innovation Partners

We accomplish the mission by:

  • Raising awareness for the startup community through educational programming and outreach activities

  • Advising and mentoring innovators and entrepreneurs

  • Connecting company founders with public/private funding

  • Hosting growing companies within a dedicated incubator facility

The project is part of the St. Petersburg College STEM Challenge Grant awarded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration.  The overarching mission is to create an innovation talent development pathway with employer and community partnership for job placement of graduates and to contribute to an AI technology-driven entrepreneurial economy in AI disciplines.

Project Scope

The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering an AI training program that includes, but is not limited to, the following components:

  • Curriculum: Provide a customized AI training curriculum tailored to today’s industry and business requirements.

  • Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on training sessions with real world applications.

  • Support and Mentoring: Provide ongoing support and mentoring to ensure successful implementation and application of AI skills during bootcamp sessions.

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of the training program and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Proposal Requirements

Vendors are required to submit a proposal that includes the following:

  • Company Information: Provide an overview of your company, including relevant experience and expertise in AI training.

  • Proposed Training Approach: Describe your approach to delivering the AI training program, including curriculum design, training methods, and evaluation strategies.

  • Project Timeline: Outline the proposed timeline for the training program, including key milestones and deliverables.

  • Cost Proposal: Provide a detailed cost breakdown for the training services, including any additional expenses or fees.

  • References: Include references from previous clients who have received similar AI training services.

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Experience and Expertise: Demonstrated experience and expertise in AI training.

  • Training Approach: Quality and comprehensiveness of the proposed training approach.

  • Cost: Cost-effectiveness and transparency of the proposed budget.

  • References: Positive feedback and references from previous clients.
