Applications deadline: TBIC's Fall 2024 tech accelerator program for B2B & B2G startups

TBIC is launching its next startup accelerator for early-stage tech companies. The program will consist of weekly workshops to assist startup founders with product and go-to-market strategies. The program will run from August to October, wrapping up with a Showcase event at the ARK Innovation Center in St. Pete.


Applications are open to Florida-based tech startups that are building scalable products for B2B or B2G markets. Applicant companies must be less than 2 years old with less than $1M in funding.

 The Tampa Bay Innovation Center (TBIC) is pleased to announce its next tech accelerator program, which will cater to startup companies developing enterprise solutions that leverage data science and artificial intelligence.

TBIC is currently recruiting early-stage startups developing products that apply:

  • Machine Learning

  • Neural networks

  • Natural language processing

  • Image recognition

  • Robotics

  • Generative AI (text, images, code, etc.)

  • IoT sensor networks 

The program will run from mid-August through the end of October 2023 and consist of weekly group workshops supplemented by one-on-one mentoring to help these early-stage ventures with customer discovery, product strategy, pricing, go-to-market skills, and putting systems in place that are essential for success. The wrap-up showcase for this program will be one of the first public events hosted in TBIC’s new HQ, the ARK Innovation Center, in St. Petersburg, which is slated to be opened in early October.

Innovations in climate tech are drawing the interest of industry, governments, the venture capital community, and others. People from all over the globe are feeling the effects of climate change, and the entrepreneurs among us are seizing the opportunity to step up and address many of the problems with new innovative ideas.

The next cohort of the TBIC B2B Accelerator will be focused exclusively on climate tech innovations and the startup ventures seizing on opportunities in that space. This may include products in the following areas:

  • SmartGrid

  • Accelerating Digital Transformation

  • Sustainable (Green) Energy

As with previous cohorts, the program will wrap up with a investor and business community showcase event in front of the program sponsors, investors, and stakeholders from the local tech & business community.
