TAMPA BAY INNOVATION CENTER ANNOUNCES FOURTH ACCELERATOR COHORT
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – (Aug 2, 2021) – Tampa Bay Innovation Center (TBIC), a business incubator, accelerator and coworking entrepreneurial center, announced its Fall 2021 Accelerator cohort of seven startups that will receive specific training and mentoring in customer discovery, investor-readiness and leadership over the next 90 days.
“With the surge of new businesses that were created in late 2020 and early 2021, it is more important than ever to have resources that support early-stage startups. With more than just an entrepreneurial mindset and good ideas, the batch of startups that applied to this cohort are tackling real business problems that will draw the attention of new tech talent and customers to the Tampa Bay startup ecosystem. We look forward to working with these founders and helping strengthen their business processes, product roadmap, market focus, and leadership capabilities.” said Ken Evans, accelerator managing director.

Previous cohort founders in the TBIC Accelerator have raised more than $5M in capital during and after participating in the program.
The seven startups of the cohort include:

· GameDrive (Tampa, Fla) - eSports marketing
· Šóta Signal Analytics (Tampa, Fla) - Risk analytics for FinTech
· Kandel (Marina Del Ray, Ca) - Engagement software for HRTech
· iSocrates (St. Petersburg, Fla) - Planning tools for AdTech
· Phronesis Health (Seminole, Fla) - Medical Records AI & Natural Language Program
· Little Town Solutions (Tampa, Fla) - Innovative software-based instruments for neuropsychological assessment and therapy
The Tampa Bay Innovation Center Accelerator will run from August 4 through October 20, 2021. Graduates of the program will participate in the Showcase event the week of October 20th to an audience of investors, community leaders, media and potential business partners/customers.
