Tampa Bay Innovation Center Opens Applications for B2B Accelerator

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Oct. 19, 2020  – Tampa Bay Innovation Center (TBIC), a business incubator and coworking entrepreneurial center, has opened applications to its accelerator program focused on company founders.  The Pinellas County-based accelerator program is seeking all types of high impact tech startups from all over the country for its third cohort.  Accelerator participants will engage in a rigorous program that includes coaching, education, connections and expertise from industry professionals.  The program will be held virtually.

The program is made possible by a network of 75+ mentors and advisors, many of whom are the regions’ top business leaders.  “Without the guidance and knowledge we received in the B2B Accelerator, I don't think we would have come as far as we have as a company” said Chris Tischner,co-founder, elitRecruiter.  Additional value is provided by one-on-one coaching, peer-to-peer advisory board, and coworking access at the Tampa Bay Innovation Center.

Founders in the program will identify successful product roadmap and go-to-market strategies, learn the secrets of user and market research and develop plans for pricing, staffing and demand generation.  “A startup’s journey to find a sustainable product-market fit is one that is achieved through insight into the customer’s problems and by establishing trust with early adopters. This program helps founders build the credibility and confidence they need to launch and grow scalable products based on that insight and real market demand,”  said Ken Evans, managing director, tech accelerator

The program is:

·         offered over a 12-week period

·         focused on founders, leadership and being investor ready

·         mentor-driven by serial entrepreneurs with successful exits

·         designed to accommodate up to 10 companies per workshop

·         celebrated with a demo/pitch event

·         provided free-of-charge and no equity will be required
