Doug Martin, CEO of Medical Device Investments, Inc. (MDI), is a senior executive with over 44 years of experience capitalizing on business opportunities and establishing high performance organizations. In addition to co-founding MDI, Mr. Martin is a partner in several entrepreneurial ventures, managing member of Miller Martin Capital Partners and managing partner of Business Consulting Group. Prior to that, Mr. Martin was a Managing Director with Price Waterhouse Management Consulting Services, where he consulted for over 23 years. He has managed multiple multi-million dollar projects, designed unique strategic IT applications, been an interim CEO, CFO, COO and CIO, and has participated in many business acquisitions. His experience ranges from small, privately-held companies to Global 10 manufacturing, distribution, and service corporations, including the United Nations. Doug is in his second term on the Board of Directors for the Tampa Bay Innovation Center and previously served three years as Chairman of its Client Advisory Board.
