Brooke Evans and Marvin Scaff elected to the Tampa Bay Innovation Center Board of Directors

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – July 20, 2022 – Tampa Bay Innovation Center (TBIC) is pleased to announce that Brooke Evans, Founder and CEO of CFO Alliance and Marvin Scaff, CTO at Mach49 have been elected to its Board of Directors. TBIC’s Board is comprised of area tech leaders and entrepreneurs dedicated to creating jobs and assisting individuals in reaching their dream of becoming entrepreneurs.

“We are excited to expand our board with two new members,” stated Tonya Elmore, President & CEO.  “We work to ensure that TBIC’s board/leadership consists of a diverse group of experts that are focused on entrepreneurship and innovation.”

Evans brings a wealth of financial services knowledge to the Board. She has more than 20 years of progressive financial management experience. Evans founded CFO Alliance in 2008, and since then, has grown the company significantly, serving more than 300 founder-led and private-equity backed clients.  CFO Alliance has been named to Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing companies in the country and the Seminole 100 list of fastest-growing businesses owned by Florida State University alumni four times.

Deeply committed to the Tampa community and serving others, Brooke has served a variety of organizations, including the Florida Funders Investment Committee, ACG Tampa Bay’s Board of Directors, and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum Foundation.

Scaff has over 40 years of experience in software development and technology innovations. Marvin is Chief Technology Officer at Mach49, a growth incubator for global businesses where he connects the art of the possible with the state of the art to help build a pipeline and portfolio of new ventures to drive disruptive growth.

Scaff has a track record of developing disruptive technology solutions beginning with creating diagnostic tools at the age of 15 that were used by Apple’s service centers. Marvin's depth of experience includes technology entrepreneurship, semantic AI, knowledge graphs, sensor fusion, and cognitive computing. He attended the University of California, Berkeley Semantic Computing program in 2010 and Stanford University - Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad Educators Program in 2013.
